Bakery

ARTISAN BAKER

We have a team currently of 8 bakers, led by two senior bakers.

In the centre of our work is always bread based on long fermentation times and we work with at least 7 types of dough each day. Aside from bread we produce viennoisserie, savouries, morning items cakes and a range of rolled schnecken pastries. Working as a baker with us requires having or gaining fairly universal skillsets.

We expect that our team will grow in the course of 2026.

We are always interested in meeting experienced bakers and apprentice level assistant bakers. We organize trial shifts each month to get to know potential future team members in person.

EXPERIENCED CHEF/PASTRY CHEF IDEALLY WITH BAKERY AND KITCHEN MANAGER EXPERIENCE

We have today a team of 6 chefs inc kitchen porters managed by our F&B Manager and 8 bakers. We work as one integrated production team.

Our all organic products are in demand and we have started supplying Planet Organic with a range of all organic sandwiches and savouries.

We are soon launching a corporate catering menu and will be improving our afternoon tea offering.

We are always on the look out for new motivated chefs who are willing to roll up their sleeves and produce simple products of uncompromising quality - and always 100% organic. But bear in mind that our menu is limited and simple and must be also a showcase of the breads we produce.

Because we are growing fast there is a chance far career advancemet and we are interested in your ideas to improve our savoury offerings.

SERVICE OPERATIONS

We employ around 20 persons right now in service and coffee production operations and are always looking to meet strong candidates whetehr or not we have immediate openings.

OPERATIONAL, SALES and SUPPLY CHAIN SUPPORT

We are a fast growing company in terms of B2C and B2B operations.

We have invested signifcantly in IT systems to ensure scaleability with a minimum head office staffing level.

Our current key support person is moving on in January and we need to find a new candidate who can join by early December and be trained to take over the responsibilities of this position

You will have completed a degree in a technical subject in university, highly numerical an able to work in Excel and probaby have experience in food service or retail in a spply chain, sales or IT role.

You will be at centre of all of our commercial operations and bear signifcant responsibility for the business.

Your work will involve work on weekends early morning and late evening - as per the requirements of the business - and may also be asked to support operations directly be this in bakery, kitchen, sales and logistics.

You will be reporting to the MD of the business and supporting personnel in service and production and sales operations.
